Spain pardons Catalan leaders over independence bid

Catalan separatist leaders sentenced to prison
Spain’s Supreme Court sentenced nine Catalan separatist leaders Monday to prison terms of between nine and 13 years on charges of sedition for organizing an illegal referendum on Catalan indepedence in 2017.
Sagrada Familia building permit
Barcelona has granted the Sagrada Familia by Antoni Gaudí, which has been under construction since 1882, its first building permit. The new permit allows continue building work until 2026.

Rescue mission in Málaga
