Although I was born and I graduated in journalism in Barcelona, I spent part of my professional career abroad.
In London, I worked as the UK correspondent for the Spanish news agency EFE and for La Vanguardia newspaper. After that, I moved to the European Parliament directorate of communication in Brussels, where I acquired vast knowledge about the policy decision making of the European institutions.
Currently, I work in Barcelona as managing news editor for a publication providing market and regulatory intelligence. I coordinate the work of a team of thirty journalists worldwide as well as European policy coverage.
Travelling and eating are biggest passions. I like discovering that luxury and design hotel in a remote town in the Alps, that Michelin restaurant that serves local and seasonal products, that family-run distillery that produces gin and liquor in small batches or that tiny bar in a trendy neighbourhood that offers exclusive mixology creations.
One of the most rewarding moments for me is being able to share this unique travel and food experiences I lived with the readers of the different inflight magazines I work.
Wanderlust, the strong desire to travel and discovering new places, is without any doubt a word that describes my personality perfectly. Do you want to know more about my next travel adventure?
“The challenge in fiction is to write a terrific story. The challenge in journalism is to communicate solid, objective information. The challenge in creative non-fiction is to do it both and to do it well.” — Lee Gutkind
